This remains one of the prime focus area of the Trust. The first and foremost activity, therefore, was aimed at this segment of society. The primary objective remains economic and social empowerment to the women and so far the efforts of the Trust have been in creating and providing support to self help groups, free education to the girls of poor families and organising vocational training camps. Recently the trust collaborated with a N.G.O. Sangini Saheli- for distribution of sanitary napkins and creating awareness towards a healthy lifestyle. The Trust is expanding its activity in this area by providing legal aid for oppressed women and also ensuring cultural development.
